The Invisible Curve: A Crash Course on Scoliosis

My master’s final project is an illustrated book on scoliosis for children aged 9-12 years old. This is a nonfiction book that introduces scoliosis to children through evidence-based science and personal experience.

A reflection piece of the book is also available to understand more about the reasons on what makes the book what it is today.

Reflection Essay

“The book is incredible, there aren’t many other ways for me to say it, it’s really beautiful, the language is well pitched, the scientific content is well researched and it’s really brilliantly put together as a sci com ‘product’, it’s very slick.”

ED

“Well done – this is an excellent piece of work on scoliosis aimed at children. … Of particular merit is your critical reflection on the idea of ‘making visible’ what is traditionally framed as invisible – this is a particularly compelling aspect of your work.”
