Unravelling
the Secrets of
the Dark Universe

I wrote a news feature for science-interested audience of a science news website (e.g., Science.org). The feature highlights the first cosmic map by Euclid space mission and unravels the history of the mission and how it came to be. This was part of the “Practical Science Writing” module. Additionally, the social media campaign was part of the “Digital Media Skills for Science Communication” module. Here, I focused on its 3 largest platform; Instagram, Facebook, and X/Twitter, with an additional upcoming platform, BlueSky. “All accounts mentioned and used in the mock up are for educational purposes only.”

Social Media

“This is really good article, well done. It tackles a really complex space mission and very clearly explains its background and physics. It is very readable and I like that it’s unafraid to explain the technical details … I hope you keep writing about it, well done!”

HP

"The article is about the images, so you didn't have to look far to find them (!)...but you've made the extra effort to consider how they would be presented in a gallery etc ... excellent multimedia eg explanatory 'how Euclid works' ... excellent designs for social media mockups - good effort"
